Furthermore, the fabric has underwent rigorous testing by the Hohenstein Institute, a member of the International Test Association for Applied UV Protection. The methodology applied successfully measured and verified the fabric's UV protection performance in accordance with AS/NZS 4399:1996 standards.

  • Ease Into the Sun: Tanning is a journey. Start with shorter sessions during the first few days and avoid the sun's intense peak hours to allow your skin to adapt.
  • Balance Your Protection: Because our specialized fabric acts as a controlled SPF 10 barrier, achieving an even tan means balancing your protection. Apply sunscreen to your fully exposed skin to match the fabric’s baseline for a perfectly seamless result.
  • Know Your Skin Type: If you have fair, blonde, or red-haired skin, your skin is naturally more sensitive. Always lean toward a higher SPF sunscreen.
  • Apply & Reapply: Generously apply your sunscreen before heading out. Refresh the application regularly while sunbathing, and always right after swimming.
  • Prioritize Skin Health: Sunburn is the enemy of a beautiful tan. Listen to your body and never let your skin burn.

While conventional Lycra completely blocks the sun's rays, our innovative fabric allows them to pass through, eliminating the stark tan lines caused by traditional swimwear.

By filtering a portion of the sun's UV rays, SunKissed tan-through swimwear provides a Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 7, functioning similarly to a low-SPF tanning oil.

After your first few wears, you may notice your skin underneath the fabric looks slightly pink—this is simply the beginning of the tanning process. With consistent and mindful exposure over the following days, your skin will gradually deepen into a beautiful golden brown. To maximize your results, we have minimized seams, folds, and elastics, removing the usual barriers to sun transmission for an effortlessly even tan.
